Bilingual Workshop Hosted by Revolution Auto Dealers & Mirror Image Detailing 

ROWLETT, TX – November 9, 2017 – ROWLETT, TX – November 9, 2017 – Vision Investments, the exclusive importer of SONAX car care products in the United States (www.sonaxusa.com), is sponsoring the inaugural bilingual workshop in Rowlett, Texas November 11-12, 2017. The workshop is supported by SONAX USA, Autogeek, FLEX N.A., DRC 1000 and Towel Pros.

The workshop will focus on an underserved part of the auto repair industry, the small independent body shop where most of the owners/employees speak Spanish. “We view this workshop as the first of many bilingual trainings here in the U.S.,” said Rob McCrary, Managing Director of Vision Investments, the SONAX representative in the United States. “We are very fortunate to have body shop repair instructors and detailers associated with our brand that are willing to share their years of experience and help other Hispanics learn the craft of detailing and create a lifetime career.”

Workshop sessions will be led by SONAX Master Detailer Michael Pena and detailers Rigo Santana, Sergio Fierro and ASE certified Master Collision.Technician and instructor at UTI Gus Ohm. At the end of the workshop, each person will receive a Certificate of Completion to show customers their commitment to continuing education.

The workshop will concentrate on repairing car panels that have been damaged during a collision by applying bonding materials, wet sanding and polishing to a bright shine using body shop safe SONAX products.

SONAX Named the Official Car Care Provider to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum

INDIANAPOLIS – November 7, 2017 – Vision Investments, the exclusive importer of SONAX car care products in the United States (www.sonaxusa.com), has been named the Official Car Care Provider to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum. SONAX, the German market leader in premium car care products, established in 1950, has distribution channels in over 100 countries.

SONAX has had ties with the auto racing industry globally since 1989. SONAX was a sponsor of Formula One racing since 1996 with such teams as Infiniti Red Bull Racing and McLaren Mercedes. These aren’t just cars, they’re a part of racing history,” she went on to say.

SONAX recently was used to prepare a 1928 Isotta Fraschini for the Pebble Beach Concours and a 1949 Jaguar (previously driven by Clark Gable) for a display at Conner Prairie in Indianapolis. SONAX also recently was used to prepare an exhibit of original Camaro pace cars for both the Indianapolis 500 and Brickyard 400 circuits.

SONAX Continues Surge; Posts Record Sales in Q1 2017 in the United States 

INDIANAPOLIS – April 18, 2017 – Vision Investments, the exclusive importer of SONAX car care products in the United States (www.sonaxusa.com), experienced record sales in the first quarter of 2017. The US SONAX distributor was recently awarded the SONAX “Climber Award for 2016” for largest year-over-year growth of all North & South America distributors. SONAX, the German market leader in premium car care products, established in 1950, has distribution channels in over 100 countries.

March 2017 was also a record sales month for the SONAX brand in the US with impressive year over year triple digit growth.  “We are elated with our continued month-over-month sales records,” said Rob McCrary, Managing Director of Vision Investments, the SONAX representative in the United States. “We attribute part of our growth to the launch of SONAX CC36 Ceramic Coating which has been very well received. We are also seeing an increase in bulk product purchases. Currently we import eight products in the 200 Liter sizes with the ability to not only increase the product range but sizes up to 1000 Liters,” he said.

Marketing efforts continue with SONAX being featured in four episodes of season two of Velocity Channel’s “Competition Ready” (airing April 21, May 19 & 26 and June 9) hosted by AJ Janic and Mike Phillips. Other marketing efforts in 2017 include segments on Velocity’s “Two Guys Garage”, Bloomington Gold, as well as global sponsorship of FIA World Rallycross team Hoonigan Racing Division (drivers Ken Block and Andreas Bakkerud). “Gymkhana” star Ken Block takes off with Sonax

The German car care expert and Ken Block have wrapped up a long-term and worldwide co-operation, which is kicked off at 2016 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. The collaboration was agreed for an initial period of two years and will start in November 2016.

In the upcoming season, Sonax will show up on Ken Block’s Ford Focus RS and the entire “Hoonigan Racing Division” fleet at FIA World Rallycross Championship (WRX). Additionally, the daily use of Sonax wheel rim cleaners, paintwork polishes and other cleaning and care products guarantee a brilliant appearance of all racing cars and team vehicles. And Ken Block will welcome his fans at Sonax booths at differing exhibition events – including SEMA Show and Tuning World Bodensee, which will take place in May 2017 near Sonax’s headquarters in the Bavarian Neuburg on the Danube. The partnership with Ken Block is furthermore the heart of a global marketing campaign of the German company. Joint campaigns with the team sponsors Ford and Monster are also planned.

More than 250 million clicks on Youtube

Ken Block’s rally career has been filled with many successes achieved in differing international rally and rallycross series. The US American, however, has achieved global fame by his spectacular “Gymkhana” videos that have spread around the world like wildfire with 250 million views. In 2016, the “wildly” staged sightseeing tour with the title “Ken Block’s Ultimate Exotic Playground in Dubai” alone achieved more than 21 million clicks on Youtube.

Currently, Ken Block and his “Hoonigan Racing Division” team compete in the FIA World Rallycross Championship (WRX). In doing so, they can rely on the support of Ford and other well-known partners such as Monster Energy. From 2017, Ken Block will chase points in the popular racing series with Sonax at his side as well. Additionally, it will be exciting to see what video projects will cause a great stir in 2017 – this time with the red lettering of the car care expert.

On this episode of COMPETITION READY, famed hot rod artisan and builder, TROY LADD of Hollywood Hotrods in Burbank, California calls Bob and Mike to help him finish his ’32 Roadster Pickup truck in time for the GRAND NATIONAL ROADSTER SHOW.  The build has been intense and hasn’t left Troy the time to give his creation the proper shine—so Mike and his team of surface technicians are swooping in at the last minute, taking over Troy’s shop in the 11th hour to get the ’32 ready—and hopefully selected as AMERICA’S MOST BEAUTIFUL ROADSTER.



Demand for SONAX Products in the US Breaks New Records

SONAX, the German market leader in premium car care products, established in 1950, has distribution channels in over 100 countries.

“We attribute our 2015 success to expanding advertising and distribution networks and unmatched quality products.” said Rob McCrary, Managing Director of Vision Investments, the SONAX representative in the United States. “We plan to add 16 or more liquid products and at least 5 new accessories in 2016.” he added. The added products will grow the line in the United States over 25%. SONAX Germany makes over 500 chemical products.

SONAX will be participating in many events in 2016 including Detail Fest at Autogeek, Bloomington Gold, and SEMA as well as open houses at Sweet Cars, Esoteric and many car clubs. SONAX will again be hosting a Detailer’s Workshop in Indianapolis in April of 2016 (details will be posted in the SONAX blog). “We appreciate the participation of detailers that come to the workshop to learn and network” said Jason Whiteley, U.S. National Sales Manager. SONAX “Best brand” for the Tenth Time in Succession

automotor 2015For the tenth time in succession SONAX has won the readers poll of German motoring magazine “auto motor und sport”. More than 55 percent of readers have had positive experiences with the products of the German company, which this year celebrates its 65th birthday. No other car care brand enjoys such high esteem among motorists. 

For the tenth time running SONAX is clear favorite for an absolute majority of “auto motor und sport” readers when it comes to care and value retention of the car. 55.3 percent of the 112,471 readers who participated voted for SONAX as best brand in the category “care products”. SONAX won the readers poll with a lead of about 24 percent over the second placed brand. The results can be read in the 7/2015 issue from the 19th of March.

SONAX Marketing Manager Franz Fischer: “Since the year 1950, the SONAX brand has come to represent in this market sector, like no other manufacturer, everything associated with the quality standard ‘Made in Germany’. Only a few weeks ago, readers of German motoring magazine “Auto Zeitung” participated in another survey to decide the “Top Brands of 2015″. Readers were invited to select brands in 20 categories, choosing the brands which are reliable and brands whose very name stands for quality. The name of “Top Brand” in the care products category is, yet again, SONAX. With 47.6 percent of votes and a vote increase of more than eight percent compared with last year, the car care specialist from Neuburg enjoys the highest appreciation among motorists, and lies far ahead of other manufacturers in this category. As in previous years, readers of the motoring magazine have made it very clear in the reader surveys that they have had the best experiences with SONAX products. The “Auto Zeitung” has conducted the “Top Brands” survey annually since 2009. And since then, SONAX is the only manufacturer to have won this award in the “care products” category.
